Settling in
|
While Pancho was gone, Pancho's human family refurbished his paddock, adding a new shelter with a solid floor, better drainage with gravel and crushed granite for solid footing in the paddock.

Sharon H. would be taking Pancho out on a daily basis to explore the area and
to get more comfortable with being groomed and handled. All in all he seemed
much more relaxed around his humans and most of the time he seemed to actually
enjoy their company.
If these folks follow through, he should become more solid every day and trustworthy when turned out in areas that aren't "highly fortified." Rebecca is now riding Pancho all over the mountains. They've both done a great job and are doing fine. Return to Part 10
