For several years riders from the ranch, along with some other horsey friends,
would venture out in to the neighborhoods in nearby communities to collect
canned goods around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Youngsters who helped collect cans would be rewarded by getting to sit on the wagon for a short distance. |

A couple of years we also did Halloween "Trick or Treat" for food.
At the present time, Becky, one of the mules, has gotten pretty old and we've had to reevaluate the wisdom of taking her out for these activities. :O( |
