"Jesse"

Jesse is a Belgian Draft Horse, foaled in 1995. His dam is "Granite State King's Cindy" from the J.J. King line and his sire is the Grupe's "Spingler's Stormin' Norman." At 4½ years of age he stands at about 18 hands high.

His original owners, who live in the foothills of the Sierras, considered using him as a mount for hunting as he could carry a rider and pack out a lot of meat. Their lives, however, got busy. Jesse wasn't being ridden much nor getting as much attention as his owners thought he should have, and so they offered him for sale.

A lady in the area found out about Jesse and was seriously interested in him, but it wasn't practical for her to take him. She did, however, recognize that he had a special "horsenality" and needed to go to an environment where he would have good social interaction with humans and other horses.

We saw him and agreed. Jesse is a real people horse and it's our intent to see that he remains in an appropriate environment where he can be appreciated for what he is and flourish.
