"Quincy"

A dapper dude!
We first met Quincy as a long 2 year old at Wild Horse Workshop '98. He wasn't a BLM horse, but Jan Tofting brouht him so that we could work on some behavioral issues. Quincy was a little spoiled, didn't like to stand for the farrier and didn't respect peoples' space.

We worked with Quincy off and on during the workshop and even rode him for the first time. I saddled him and sat on him the first day in the round pen. Later that day Dennis Bright rode him a little bareback. A day later I saddled him up and we followed Lisa and Snort around the fairgrounds. Basically Quincy is just a real neat horse who mainly needed to learn some manners.

Jan left Quincy at the ranch so we could do some ground schooling, spook proofing and a little more saddle work. (Q was in the middle of a growth spurt so we took it real easy with the saddle stuff.)

After Jan got Quincy back home, she also worked with him and started riding him.
