"Quincy being the curious horse that he is, was put in the RP. The first thing that he noticed was a big tarp hanging on the top rail. He went over to it played with it with his nose and then lined himself up and got part of his body under it. As I went to get the camera he was turning his head and got close to the rail and turned his head over his body and pulled the tarp across himself. Mind you it was a little chilly out.

"He then just started walking around with this big tarp over his back for aout 20 minutes, then he trotted, it still stayed on, but at the canter it fell off and he couldn't figure out how to get it back on. I straightened it out and he just walked and then rolled on it. We played tug of war with it for a while but he won.

"I think I will just wear a camera around my neck, as you never know what he will do."

A couple of weeks later Jan writes:

"Today in the arena there were 2 small jumps set up and some ground poles laid out near the rail. Comanche got Q into a nice trot on the rail and when they came to the poles Comanche went first with Q following behind. Q touched the poles and around the ring they went. On the 5th try Q trotted over the poles and didn't touch a single one so Comanche stopped and let Q have a rest. Then they went back into their trot and this time Comanche went over the low jumps, stopped and faced Q who wouldn't go over. Comanche started again and there went Q, right behind and over them. It's great having a horse train your horse."
