"Apache"

Apache was Ron's first attempt at adopting a wild horse. They got off to a rough start because the barn where they were first located had people constantly messing with him. Now thet they are in a better environment, Ron and Apche are progressing rapidly.



Ron writes: Apache trusts me with just about anything. after 2 weeks he has been sacked out (took 10 minutes). He had a bareback saddle with stirrups on for 1 hour, 3 days in a row with no trouble. Now for the last 3 days he has had a saddle on and been ponied, Plus he has ridden in a herd (with Buck and Red). I think we are best buddies... well except for that that castration thing last week...

We are expecting more info and pics as Ron and Apache progress.
