"Chester"

Chester

Jodie writes:

"I adopted Chester's Wild Ride (AKA Chester) in April 1992. He was 11 months old. Today he is 15.3 hands and very gentle. Chester originally came from Devils Garden area in Northern California. When I first got him, be was extremely scared and tried several times to get away from me, but with persistence and patience, he was soon following me like a puppy dog. Now he drinks pepsi from a can and feels he is entitled to have a bite of whatever I am eating!

"We have made an appearance at the Lake Perris Adoption where the public got to see him up close and discover how wonderful these horses are when started properly. Whenever I would take him out of his stall, the crown would gather around him and pet him all over. He never spooked or moved his feet because I am convinced he knew that little children were around and it was time to be careful. People were amazed at how big and beautiful Chester is.

"On Memorial Weekend, 1998, we went camping at Chino Hills State Park. He was ankle deep in green grass and we rode all day. We had the best time and laughed at the coyotes that came right into our camp at night.

We expect to get more photos and stories about Chester.
