Jezzie is living proof that even older wild horses can adapt successfully to the human environment. Jill Whitt reports: "She is doing very well. They have broken down every step that they are going through to get where they are with her. Every movement is a new step with her. She was very wild and this has payed off for them. I have seen them on her back and she is really calm and has no fear at all."

Captured with while in foal, Jezzie gave her owners, the Woodards of western North Carolina, a pleasant surprise in April '96.
