KBR Horse Net Mustang Close-Up
"Kemo Sabe" (A.K.A. "Sweet Keem")
Terri reports: "Sweet Keem was adopted at the age of 7. He is a beautiful
deep bay. I kept him home for the first 4 months then sent him off to our
trainer (Wayne Frey). After 2 months of training I was invited to go ride him
in the round pen. He never attempted to buck or jump around."
Kemo and Terri
She continues: "We brought him home after 4 months and he has been a dream to ride.
He still is wary about anyone standing beside him but as soon as you get
on his back he takes a deep breath and calms down immediatly. He has never
done anything dangerous. I think people should reconsider passing over
the older horses up for adoption. My trainer said he was the easiest
and most wise horse he has ever trained (including domestic horses).
He has never acted like a green horse. It was like he just accepted
the fact that he would be ridden and he does the BEST he can to please
me. That is all that I ask of him."
(A wise and gentle face, if you ask me)
Terry has two other mustangs, but in her description of Kemo she makes note, "He is my heart."
