"Lady Jasmine"
(AKA "Ladybug")

April, 1999

Hi! My name is Lady Jasmine, but my new family calls me Ladybug for short. I grew up in the Antelope HMA near White Pine, NV. I was born in the spring of 1996 where I stayed until I was rounded up in December of 1998. I was taken to the BLM holding facility in Butterfield Canyon in Salt Lake City until April 16, 1999. I was then taken to Logan, Utah where I was first introduced to my new "Mom and Dad." I'm not really sure if they chose me or I chose them but nevertheless on April 17th I went to Tooele, Utah with them.

For the first couple of days I wasn't really sure about the whole experience but then I just couldn't hold out any longer... I just had to have some lovin' and I just melted into oblivion with the first scratches on my withers. I knew I was where I belonged and would stay forever.

On May 5th I added a whole new surprise that I had kept inside for long enough. I gave Mom and Dad a brand new bouncin' baby boy. They named him Jasmine's Pride, but Junior is much easier for me to say when I'm scolding him.

Jusnior has turned into such a pest but everyone seems to love him. They all comment on his looks and charm which, of course, he gets from me.

If you are ever travelling through Utah, please stop in and say, "Howdy!" We would love to meet you!

Ladybug is eager to please and has always been one to face her fears. The Tiptons were riding her within a month after she had Junior and they continue to take her on all their trail rided. (Most of the time she is ponied as she is young and still needs to develop her balance with a rider out on trail.)
