Jean decided to visit the 2001 Wild Horse Celebration in Roseville. As one of the
volunteers that helped gentle and train the
Olympic horses and burros she knew her way around a wild horse. She went to
Roseville with the intent just to look over the event, but came away with
a pumpkin colored dun filly that she just couldn't leave behind.
Pumpkin shares Jean's ranch with her domestic horses and a couple of BLM burros.
She seems to be doing quite nicely and we hope to get progress reports and photos
as she matures.
