Arizona's Nevada Sage (AKA Sage)

Sage

Coleen reports: Sage is very impressive looking, a good learner, "dog" gentle, looks good in English but is awesome going western. He is currently under training to be the "untimate trail horse". He heels better than any dog and he comes when I call him... but most importantly, he's my best friend.

Sage was originally rescued by the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros. To use Coleen's own words: " I can attest to the fact that these rescued horses changed my life. My mustang Sage is living proof that the program works. He would have been dead at age three had the ISPMB not stepped in to help him. He came to the facility with what we thought was a broken hip. We spent six long months working with him, nursing him back to health. Before I knew it, he would knicker for me on sight. As you can see, he turned out beautifully.
