Shiloh is my first horse and I am his first (and only) human. He picked me out
during Life Savers Boot Camp. It took me a few weeks for him to allow me to
touch him, but I did and then things moved right along.
He gave me his feet pretty easily and took his saddle fine. We have had a
few minor incidents when we began riding, but that was due to my lack of
experience. I worked very slowly with him, a tiny baby step at a time. He
still is nervous around other poeple, but he is getting better. In December
I moved to Lake View Terrace and in February, Shiloh moved down to my
backyard. There are 10 horses here, and he thinks he is the main attraction.
Shiloh is extremely smart and very playful. He still is more or less a baby,
but he learns something new everyday. I am hoping that we can do trick riding
together. I couldn't have asked for a better horse, and I couldn't have
asked for better help than Willis Lamm.
He thinks he is a rock star, he is very mischevious, and I know he knows he
is cute.
