  Econolite Neon Exposed Tube
WAIT - WALK Signal

This particular pedestrian signal is interesting as it is comprised of a single traffic signal section.

It uses two separate neon WAIT and WALK tubes that fit onto a small hinged adapter plate.

This is the only neon pedestrian signal that I've ever discovered that fits entirely into one 8-inch traffic signal section, in this case a "long groove" which suggests that this is an early Econolite design.

Small transformers attached to the hinged adapter plate.

Visor removed, view of the tubes mounted on the adapter plate.
Prior to being painted yellow this signal was painted white. Prior to that the factory color was green. The signal has been restored to its original green.
