Horses rounded up from Utah public lands are temporarily housed
in BLM corrals located in Delta, Utah. Typically, horses are
available for viewing and adoption from the Delta facility from
late June through August each year. To make an adoption
appointment, call the BLM Warm Springs Resource Area in Filmore,
Utah, at (801) 743-6811.
The BLM also conducts several satellite adoptions in various
locations throughout the state during the spring and summer months.
Normally these are 1 to 2-day events scheduled during the
weekend.
For more information about adoptions, fees, etc., write to the
BLM office nearest you.
