We have just started the midwest section, but there is a bunch of good stuff going on here. Check out the Oklahoma Inmate Adoption and Training Program, for example, where arrangements can be made for adopted wild horses to be gentled and started by the prison training program or you can adopt one of the limited number of horses which come out of the program already started.
