George is the last of our "original" boarders from an old stable we had in Oakley back in the 1980s.
Justine, his owner, had the Shetland pony for decades. There is continual debate as to how old George actually is. Justine has used him for both as a saddle pony and for driving, using a cart she built herself made from an old bee hive.
George is now in semi-retirement, although he remains quite active and he plays daily with his best friends, a burro named Maynard, his famous buddy Prints, and Dan the draft horse. He also takes some of the youngsters for a ride.
