"Karatez"

Anouschka Wardy won Karatez in a raffle. Some folks claim that the raffle was rigged because the Arabian mare used to be quite a handful and the rest of the raffle ticket holders were afraid of her. Whether or not the story was true, Karatez was a hot horse and Anouschka worked with her quite a bit to settle her down.

As you can see, Anouschka's work has paid off because Karatez has become a wonderful horse, spirited if Anouschka wants to get up and go, but gentle and trustworthy enough to let Anouschka's and Jim's young boys climb aboard.
