Today we are foregoing the usual Horse Wars Report as we pay respect to those good Americans who risked everything to defend flag and country. We cannot become so distracted as to forget America's heroes.

Nevada Humane Society's Walk for Animals

The Nevada Humane Society is northern Nevada's "umbrella" animal organization. NHS is holding a fundraising walk through Sparks Marina Park on Saturday, June 7.

NHS works with various other agencies and organizations and they deal with issues that some of the animal services agencies don't have the resources to address. NHS deserves our support.
