"Three bulb" 4-way signal

Part Three

Early Darley Sequences

Back when the Darley C-811 signal was made, yellow indications were primarily just used to caution motorists that the signal was about to change. One common sequence was for the yellow lights to come on for a couple of seconds, then go out, then the light would change.

Darley also produced what was sometimes called the stairstep sequence which can be viewed when you visit the D-480 page.
